Oleand - The Guardian Angel by Marti Diessner

Hello. My name is Oleand (pronounced oh-lee-and). I am a guardian angel. With the assistance of my assigned person, Marti Diessner, I have been allowed to write my autobiography. Not because I am considered an exceptionally special guardian angel, but simply because it is time for people to understand how guardian angels actually “intervene” in their lives. It’s not exactly how you’ve been led to believe.

You see, sometimes, we have to stand by and watch as you make mistakes and get yourselves in jams. Other times, we get to arrange series of events that eventually stack up in your favor . . . but it’s very difficult to be patient while that is unfolding. I'm sure you can think of a couple circumstances in your life that were just like that.

“. . . I paid a high price to become an Archangel. Growing up three and a half light-years away from planet Earth, I was one of the first angels to become a part of a new division of angels specifically trained for Christian ministers. As you will see a bit later, my assignment was not chosen to be a traditional minister. She was to minister in a very unique manner.. . ”
“ . . . I prepared for twenty-two years so I would be able to constantly protect and guide my person into adulthood. I learned the ways of the universe and observed other angels on assignments that were similar enough to mine to give me more insight. I gathered as much information as I could... .”
“ . . . My initial purpose was to have my biography written and I must admit this is the most exciting and rewarding event I have experienced so far on this mission. While I am relieved I have been able to accomplish this feat, I am also grateful to have the opportunity to share my life story with the people of planet earth! . . . ”

But perhaps you’re wondering why it was so important for my story to be told. Well, let me explain a few things to you. First of all, I have many “human-like” experiences. For instance, in Chapter 6, When I Had My Doubts, you’ll see that, like a parent, I found it very disturbing when I had to let my person “go her own way” even when I knew she was headed in an unpleasant direction . . .”

By reading my story, which is told through actual events in Marti’s life, you will be able to look at your life and recognize how your guardian angels have already intervened. It is my hope that you will then be able to go through the rest of your life with an additional cushion of comfort, knowing that there is intended purpose in your life and your guardian angels are there for you to realize that intended purpose.
