A Message from Marti-

This first book has been written to clearly spell out the roles, intentions, powers and abilities of a guardian angel. It is also designed to dispel the myths that have existed throughout the centuries and to reveal many, never-before known truths about guardian angels. This has been accomplished by telling the life story of Oleand. In effect, Oleand is the narrator and main character of this book. So that makes me more of Oleand’s transcriber or biographer, than an author reflecting my own opinions about life and guardian angels in general.

When Oleand first approached me with the notion of writing this book, he made it very clear that perhaps even more important than his story, and my story (the woman he was assigned to) was hearing his insight, wisdom and guidance so that everyone could benefit from the intervention of a guardian angel, perhaps in a manner that would allow them to be more capable of receiving and accepting it.

By correlating each event in the story (that is based upon events in my life) with commentary and suggestions, Oleand is reaching out to all humans who may find themselves in a personal dilemma or struggling to endure a difficult life situation. His goal is to help everyone live happier lives.

Marti Diessner was born in Wisconsin in 1950 and resided in Edina, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis, throughout her childhood years until graduating from college. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in physical and health education in 1972 and a Master of Arts degree in testing and evaluation from Texas Woman’s University in 1985. She served on the faculty of University of Texas at Arlington as an associate professor of Physical Education.

Marti was both a teacher and business owner for many years before she pursued a career in the corporate sector. As a divorced single parent of three boys, she faced an enormous variety of life challenges that eventually paved the path for this book to not only be written, but also to be insightful and inspiring to men and women of all walks of life.
